UK Economic Overview

The United Kingdom is experiencing significant economic uncertainty due to ongoing political instability. In our 2024 Investment Update – Quarter 3, we review how the recent election has resulted in a fragmented parliament, making it difficult to form a cohesive economic policy. Key economic indicators show:
Inflation: Rising due to energy costs and supply chain disruptions.
GDP Growth: Slowed down as business investments stall.

This political battle is expected to create market volatility due to differing economic policies and uncertainties surrounding the election outcome.
