Pension, Investment and Financial Planning for British, Irish and US Nationals residing in Portugal

Hosted by OpesFidelio Financial and Wealth Management Adviser Network, the 2024 OpesFidelio conference provided an opportunity to explore comprehensive solutions tailored to the diverse financial challenges faced by expatriates residing in Portugal. 

The OpesFidelio conference was held 27th September 2024, at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort, Vilamoura Portugal.

The annual event brings advisers and partner company representatives together to review current trends, technologies, and market outlooks and to discuss future potential opportunities.

Presenters included Max Durrant, Director of the OpesFidelio EU network of wealth management advisors, run by Aisa International, who provided insights on investments and insurance from a discretionary fund management perspective.

Representatives from Utmost International explained the benefits of Portuguese Tax Compliant Investments. Novia Global gave a seminar about the current UK pension rules and their regulated UK pension. Rod Edsell introduced new features that will be coming onboard for the client portal system used by OpesFidelio members.

LGT Wealth Management representatives Robert Hardy and Olivia Wingrove presented a market dissection and showcased investment solutions for Portuguese residents and their bespoke US services.

James Pearcy Caldwell of Aisa International provided a unique perspective on the psychology of investing, and how it affects investing, retirement, taxation, and more.
